Recently, the chickadees consented to a mini photo shoot. The morning light was beautiful. The chickadees relatively amiable - thanks to the promise of M&Ms - *snort* and the SD card had just enough space to capture a few photos. Bonus!
The idea was to create the most amazing, most wonderful Mother's Day scrap book gifts for my mom and my two wonderful mothers-in-law. Instead, they blessed us by visiting because The Calm One had an unexpected surgery. Nanny cleaned my house practically single-handedly and stayed with me and The Calm One the many hours he was hospitalized and Granny Lu showered us with presents. My fathers-in-law were here too helping by mowing, replacing screens and generally corralling rambunctious chickadees, finicky cats, snooty chickens and an ornery dog.
As difficult and as trying as the week was, it was also one of the best Mother's Day weeks a gal could ever ask for. God is Good. And so are my in-laws.
Here are the pics that came of the mini-shoot. Maybe one day they will get into that scrap book after all.
