Just to let you know that if you are in the mid Ohio area you can meet author Mary Connealy. I am a new fan of her books, which come highly recommended. I am hoping to attend one of her book signings and will blog about it with pictures!

Humorous Historical Fiction Author Mary Connealy Begins Ohio Book Signing Tour

UHRICHSVILLE, OH—Barbour Publishing is pleased to announce the appearance of humorous historical fiction author, Mary Connealy, who will be in the area for a number of book signings and events March 19-27, 2010.

A Christy Award finalist and award-winning author, Connealy likes to say she writes “romantic comedies with cowboys,” and tells a humorous fast-paced story in her newest full-length fiction release, The Husband Tree (book two in her Montana Marriages series). Also a journalist, a teacher, and an avid blogger, Connealy has written some guest posts for Circle of Friends, a local ministry to women based out of Sugarcreek, Ohio. Connealy is also the author of the Lassoed in Texas series, a collection of cozy mysteries called Nosy in Nebraska, and her collection Black Hills Blessings which released this month. Connealy lives on a Nebraska farm with her husband, Ivan, and has four mostly grown daughters. Find out more about Mary Connealy and her books at www.maryconnealy.com .

In The Husband Tree, Connealy takes readers on the trail into the Old West where love drives a cantankerous cattleman and a female sodbuster to distraction. After Belle Tanner buries her third worthless husband under a sprawling tree, she needs to hire help to move her cattle to market before winter sets in. But, although aimless cowpuncher Silas Harden is glad for the job, he doubts five females can survive a treacherous cattle drive across the Rockies. With both Belle and Silas determined never to get tangled up with marriage again, love seems bound to lasso them in. Will they survive the drive and make it into the winter unhitched?

Find out how The Husband Tree ends by purchasing a signed copy during Mary Connealy’s Ohio book signing tour!
