Flip Flopping over the Issue

The weather is getting warmer and my mind turns to soft spring breezes, tulips and flip flops. Yep, flip flops. I know Spring is a little early for flip flops, but they are so comfortable, that I find myself slipping them on very early in the season. I could be a complete die-hard and show up places looking like this:

But I'm not quite that brave. Not quite.

Flip flops are showing up everywhere. Seems like I'm not the only one with a mild obsession with the barely-there footwear.

For the grilling enthusiast:

For those who get in the mood to clean (which means I'll never own a pair):

For my Catholic friends who need special footwear for Fridays:

For guests of the newly married:

For the meticulous manicurist:

For the gal (or guy) who eats cake by the row (you know who you are):

For the adult beverage connoisseur:

For the party enthusiast (just add large stick or baseball bat and hit repeatedly):

And for those who just wanna hang out for awhile:

So many flip flops, so little time.

  1. I've had sandals on since a few weeks ago...and I'm getting picked on by people who aren't as brave. I just say that my toes wanted freedom! HA!

  2. LOVE it - I'm a flip-flop girl, too... Do you have any Reefs? I have the style called "Butter" in both brown and black. These are literally the only two pairs of shoes I wear all summer. They are the best.

Thanks for visiting my blog today - I certainly enjoyed reading yours!

  3. It is so close to flip-flop time here. I decided that it is time for the major spring pedi. I am loving the idea, and this post.

Thanks for stopping by...we both had footwear on the brain, hmmm.

  4. Bobbi - so glad that I'm not the only one wearing flip flops already!

Natalie - I'll have to check out Reefs. Thanks for the tip!

Tracy - what girl doesn't have a great pair of shoes on the brain, right?! Kudos on the pedi. It's definitely time for me to get one. :)

  5. too cute! I live in CA, so people here wear them virtually year round... the crazy ones that is! Thanks for stopping by the blog!

  6. I'm not a flip flop wearer (yeah, there are a few of us out there!) but my kids love them. They would love the flip flop mops, lol, the kitchen floor might actually stay clean! I'm going to have to make one of those flip flop pinatas. That's cool.

    Thanks for visiting my blog!
