One Little, Two Little, Three Little Kittens - The Christmas Tree Edition. Part Two

You may remember that the Jubilant household is having issues with the kittens and the Christmas Tree. I wrote that post about five days before this one. So we've had five days to try out the squirt bottle technique. That first day, it worked great. Since then, not so much.

The cats do not particularly like getting wet, but evidently they are willing to get soaked in order to remain in the tree. And pull off the bulbs. And chew the lights. And when they are soaked and we pull them out of the tree they go hide, lick themselves dry and head for the tree again. And again. And again.

I am ready to take down the tree. The kids have put up quite a large outcry over the idea. As you can imagine. The joy is that spraying the kittens have kept the kids busy (It's been a loooooooooong Thanksgiving break). When they are not fighting over who's turn it is. Well, that keeps them busy too, but not in such a good way.

So, I am begging for your ideas. Begging. Begg-ING.

Lemme hear 'em.

LISTERINE is what you should spray them with...it's not as tasty as water. They'll smell minty but in a medicinal way. Citrus is also a stay-away for animals.
