My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
James 1:2-4

Monday Musings

I am currently reading C Maggie Woychik's I Run to the Hills. I will be reviewing her book later this week, so stayed tuned for that! In the mean time, I have come across something she's said that I had to share with you:

"Unbelief is a pervasive human condition which will not yield to mere emotional pleas, intellectual bargaining, or even miracles . . . Unbelief's only remedy is faith. But this faith is not an unsubstantiated feeling; instead, it is a reasoned, logical faith based on at least three criteria: the Christian scriptures, the created world surrounding us and our inward conscience - three God-patented elixirs for doubt"

This is what I'll be mulling over today. I know the quote to be true. Now I want to examine it, touch it, smell it and bury it deep. I guess a better word would be meditating.

What are you meditating on today?
