(I know it's Tuesday, but since I have a prior commitment for Wednesday, I thought I'd post my (Almost) Wordless Wednesday post today!)
Today the two youngest chickadees and I talked about casting our crowns before the feet of Jesus when we get to heaven. Crowns filled with precious stones for all the good deeds we've done, not for selfish reasons, but for our Lord.
So we made crowns as a craft. The kids loved making the crowns - as simple as the project was. They weren't sure they wanted to give up their new paper crowns and I assured them they didn't have to give these crowns away. Their relief was obvious.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
James 1:2-4

I love the picture....the kids are adorable. Even though they don't completely understand it all now, one day a light bulb will come on and it will all make sense. Go Mom...Go Mom...Go Mom...
