My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
James 1:2-4

Our New Addition, Copper

, 5 comments from dear readers

I'd like to introduce you to the newest member of the Jubilant household. Please meet Copper.

He's a beagle that we found at a dog shelter the next county over. Our family fell in love with him immediately. Well, actually, the boys fell in love with him. Cherie and I were a bit more reserved at first. In fact, as soon as Copper bounded into the room Cherie announced, "I think I'd rather have a cat."

I'm not a dog person. At least, I didn't think I was. How can you look into those eyes and not love him?

The Affectionate One was a little startled when Copper decided to get to know her better by standing on her lap and putting his nose up to hers. Later, when The Calm One asked her if she was OK with us bringing home Copper, my adorable little girl replied, "It's important to the boys. I can deal with it."

That was last Friday. Today The Affectionate One was laying next to Copper, petting him and declared, "I just love my new doggie."

    I've enjoyed reading your blog. I wasn't a dog lover (we've had a few dogs) until...Pepper came to live with us. Love that dog.
    Have a good day.
