notes of jubilee

So, I may have mentioned that the Jubilant household has relocated. It's been a long drawn out process (mostly because of allowing The Cruise Director to finish out the semester at his old school), but we are finally here. We have moved numerous times in our eleven year marriage and I am glad to finally have a place to call home. Even if the bank does still own it. That will change.

In another 30 years.

Anyhoooo. We are here. Finally here. And loving it.

Here are a few things recently heard 'round the new Jubilant household in the last week:

* The Affectionate One - "I think I'm going to like it here!" Me too, baby, me too.

* Whirling Dervish - "Mom! You push this button and then this one and Viola!" Since when did my kid become all frenchified on me? What four year old uses the word Viola?!

* The Cruise Director - "Mom! I found the attic access. It's so cool! My room is the best one ever!" I'd just thought to myself, "It's true what they say: It's the small things in life that bring so much joy" when I heard him finish. "Can I sleep in your room tonight?"

* The Affectionate One in a sing-song voice while eating the raisins out of her Raisin Bran - "Chain, chain, chain. Chain of fooOOooOOOoood!"
