I have joyful news to report! The Calm One and I have closed on our very first house.
Honestly, the long and arduous process sucked the joy right out of me there for awhile. I became so preoccupied with the many, many frustrations that it was difficult to remember that my joy should come from the Lord and not the circumstances in which I find myself.
With all that behind us the adventure of being homeowners has begun. And I am excited. And joyful.
And completely anxiety ridden over all the work this new house needs before we can even move into it.
But, nevertheless, joyful.
A-hem.
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
James 1:2-4

Oh sweetie - been there done that! Don't get impatient. The whole Rome wasn't built in a day is true for a house as well. Just think of all the blog fodder you'll get. :)
Doing the snoopy happy dance for you! Congrats!
