Upcoming Carnival

Hello Dear Reader!
Since this blog is all about finding the joy in our everyday life, I thought I'd add a semi-regular feature here on the ol' blog and spread some of that joy. It's a carnival called Tribute Tuesday. As you may have guessed, because you are very savvy readers, this is to pay tribute to the people in our lives who have influenced us.

And occasionally Tribute Tuesday will have a theme. Like next week, for it's inaugural appearance, Tribute Tuesday will be a Military Edition. It just seems to fit what with the recent holiday and all.

You don't have to necessarily write about a huge turning point kind of thing; it could be a complement or word of encouragement that has stuck with you. Maybe the person you want to pay tribute to lead/leads by example and was/is a man or woman of few words.

Don't have a blog? Dear reader, then this is your chance to start one! Or you can just leave a comment in the comments section. Either way, please do pay tribute to those in your life who deserve some recognition for helping you become the person you are today.

So, here's how it works:

On designated Tuesdays (I'll let you know it advance so you have plenty of time to write up a post) I will put up the Tribute Tuesday button which you are welcome to swipe borrow (you can easily do this by right clicking and choosing to "save as") and add to your Tribute Tuesday blog post.

Then I will put up Mr. Linky here on my post where you can add your name and the URL of your Tribute Tuesday post (not the URL of your blog, please). When you write your post, be sure that you link back to my post so that your viewers can come back here to view other blogs on the list. Please, do not create your own Mr. Linky for this carnival. It's so much easier to have one hub of activity for the carnival. Thanks so much!

So, put on your thinking caps, as my first grade teacher used to say, and write up a Tribute Tuesday post for next Tuesday.

Can't wait to read your posts!
