I Love Me Some Beaches

I am a beach person. I love everything about the beach, the sand, the sun, the surf. The sights the sounds and smells of the beach calm me. And with three highly active children, I need calm and the occasional a pint of Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby.

The fact that I am extremely fair skinned and burn within moments means that an excursion to the beach between the hours of 11:00am and 4:00pm is tricky without my normal accouterments of SPF 125 and a very large broad rimmed floppy hat. Lobster Red is such an unfortunate color for me. And yet these details have not in any way hindered my love of the beach.

I love the beach so much that I don't even mind vacuuming up all the sand that gets tracked into the condo or hotel room. If you were familiar with my housecleaning habits routine attempts, you'd know that THAT is really saying something. And if I have access to a pool and the beach at the same time . . . Oh. My. Word.

So imagine my delight to find out about the WonderFall celebration over at the Beaches family resorts. I can think of no better way to spend a family vacation where all I have to think about is which swimsuit goes best with the PB&J smears my children are sure to bestow upon my person.

Beaches Family Resorts is an all inclusive vacation. All inclusive. Two words in the English language that make me very joyful. The three words that come to mind after I hear "all inclusive" is "sign me up."

During the months of September and October Beaches is running a very special, well, special. GET 1 free night when you stay 5 or 6 nights. GET 2 free nights when you stay 7 nights (or longer). Combine it with up to 45% off for incredible savings.

Beaches Resorts is all about family. You can tailor your vacation to your family's needs and wishes - from Pirate's Island, a swim-up soda bar, toddler pools and themed restaurants. And the best part, certified nannies. You heard me, if your family vacation fantasy includes long stretches of time without PB&J fingers you can cart the tots off to the nanny. Or kids Camp.
