You know how you go through life and you hear something that you've heard many times before but this time it registers and your really hear it? That's what happened to me yesterday in church. We were singing In Christ Alone, a song we've song before on several occasions, but this time I really heard it and payed attention and was quickly reminded of the enormity of what Christ has done for me. For you, dear reader.
How thankful and joyful I am that God was willing to go through the grief and heartache of sending His Son to die for me. Not because of anything that I have done, oh no, but because He created me and decided to be merciful.
Mercy toward me. . .
Titus 3:4-6 (King James Version)
4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Joyful blessings and mercy from Christ toward you, dear reader,
