I don't usually do product reviews (mostly because no one's asked me to -- anyone, anyone?), but I have been known to give my unsolicited opinion about various items that I love. Remember this? Sigh . . . I sure do miss it. And can hardly wait for the holidays to indulge once again.
And then more recently there was this post.
Well, I cannot help but do another. Say what you will, but by the end of this post, if you don't run out and buy yourself some, then I have failed. And failed miserably.
Is there anyone that doesn't love an Oreo? The chocolatey cookie with the white creamy center that is just the right size to pop whole into your mouth. So agreeably twistable, for those of us who love to eat the inside first and then dip into a tall, cool glass of milk.
Occasionally, the cookie experts shake things up by changing the color of the creme. Like pastel during Easter or red during Christmas.
But this time, dear reader, they have outdone themselves. Not only have they changed the color, but the flavor too. For a limited time Oreo has put out a Strawberry Milkshake Oreo.
Oh. My. Word. I may never go back to the original flavor, this one so good. They are slap-your-forehead-"why-didn't-I-think-of-this?" good.
They are go-off-your-diet good.
They are search-high-and-low-in-each-and-every-store-in-town
They are put-the-kids-down-for-a-nap-whether-they-need-it-or-not
They are cancel-girl's-night-out-so-you-don't-have-to-share good.
They are stop-writing-your-post- now-and-grab-two (or twelve) good. And I think I'll do just that.
